Just to let you know that they are still alive and kicking, The Drowns are back with a new 2-song 7”. The A-side is a cover of ‘Know Who You Are,’ originally by the glam rock powerhouse that was Slade, while B-side 'Guidelines of Control' is a new rock ‘n roll stomper. And yes, they even have some cowbell action going on.

While these two songs are more than solid and decent enough in their own right, I can’t help but feel a little underwhelmed. Especially if you hold this up to the band’s breakthrough album, 2020’s ‘Under Tension ‘. This 7” is still a fun little release though that will help us tide over while we wait for a new The Drowns album.
