Fast Hands, Bad Timing
6.5
On The Fifty is a Brooklyn-based pop-punk band who just released a 5-song EP called “Fast Hands, Bad Timing”. It sounds pretty good actually and was produced by Bayside’s Anthony Raneri who apparently is the band’s hero. Something that becomes obvious as soon as the vocals kick in… you wouldn’t need a lot of convincing to lead someone to believe that Raneri started a new band.
The five songs on here have the same drive as Bayside’s material with some New Found Glory influences thrown in and well, they’re worth spending some time with even if they aren’t all that original.
