When you describe yourselves as ‘a competent refinement of a genre that most bands misinterpret’ and as a ‘vitalization of hardcore’ and a ‘cultivation of the bare essentials’, I’m left thinking ‘really now?’.

What the above boils down to is that these Norwegians rehash everything hardcore bands like Circle Jerks did back in the day. Or what OFF! is doing now, only better. Haraball on the other hand doesn’t convince. There’s just something missing and the monotonous vocals don’t exactly help things along. And uhm, 23 songs with hardly any variety? That’s just asking too much.

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
