Three years after their debut, the supergroup that features members of Strung Out, No Use For A Name, Pulley, and The Tank are back with a new EP called “The Olden Age”. What to expect? Well, just have a look at the bands they have been active in or still are playing in and you’ll have a pretty good idea.

The five songs that make up Implants’ new EP harken back to the heydays of 90ies melodic punk. A bit on the nostalgic side? Sure. But listening to these short energy bursts that come with highly melodic riffs, fast-paced rhythms and a helluva lot of fun to go round, I’m not sure how that could possibly be a bad thing.

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
