It has been kinda quiet around Inhuman for a while but I wouldn’t be too motivated either if the last two labels I worked with either went out of business or didn’t do much with their releases. Vocalist Michael Scondotto took a break and opened a comic book store with his brother but new songs started writing themselves and Scondotto soon found himself in the studio once more with Agnostic Front’s Steve Gallo and Joseph James, bassist Hank Hell and producer Dean Baltulonis (Sick Of It All, Madball,…).

The result is a dark album on which the band mixes punk, hardcore and metal like they have always done. Whether it’s straight-ahead punkrock (“What You Want”), thrashy old school (“Fash-Ist”) or the organ-enhanced creepy closer that is “The Lost”, Inhuman likes to mix things up and have released yet another solid album. Hopefully their teaming up with I Scream will finally get them the recognition they deserve!

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
