Iron Reagan’s latest release “The Tyranny Of Will” comes with a whopping 24 songs, bringing the band’s output to over 60 songs in just two years. Impressive? We like to think so, even if most of their songs are only about a minute long.

Even more impressive is the fact that all of these songs are a pleasure to listen to. They will rip you a new asshole even if you didn’t particularly need one. With members coming from Municipal Waste, Cannabis Corpse and Darkest Hour, these guys have quite a lot of experience between them writing these kind of jams and it shows. Rather than wasting time on long intros, these guys like to get right down to the nitty-gritty with tons of shredding, face-melting solos and pounding drums. Sometimes it takes them two minutes to get through a song, at other times 12 seconds are all they need to get their message across. That message can be politically charged (“In Greed We Trust”, “Patriotic Shock”) or just fun (“Rat Shit”, “U Lock The Bike Cop”)… whatever way they choose to go with, these songs will jumpstart every party.

Let’s make this really easy for you… if thrash punk is your thing, you need to own a copy of “The Tyranny Of Will”. Nuff said!

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
