Because not every album has to be a scathing attack on today’s socio-political affairs or an exploration of your every feeling, the French dudes that make up Lame Shot put together a 10-song album called ‘Try Again’ that’s all about having a good time.

Whether singing about their love for Zooey Deschanel, their orange van or their childhood memories, Lame Shot always do so with plenty of zeal, energy and catchy melodies. If you are into the likes of Nerf Herder, early Blink-182 and The Copyrights, you will find plenty to love on here. Especially on the horn-enhanced ‘Last Day Of Summer’ or the very singalong-y title track.

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
