To this day Led Zeppelin remains one of the biggest rock bands to have ever walked upon the face of the earth. I think everyone can come up with at least a couple of their song titles. Hell, “Stairway To Heaven” has been played so many times you’ll get kicked out of a music store if you even think starting to play the opening riff!
“Mothership” has 24 songs spread out over 2 discs and they were handpicked out of the band’s eight albums by Page, Plant and Bonham themselves. All of their biggest hits are on here along with some of the band’s personal favorites, all in excellent remastered quality. There’s simply no reason for anyone not to pick this up whether it’s for the longtime fan to hear the remastered versions of old favorites or for the kids out there that want to attend rock school 101.
