Winnipeg punk duo Mobina Galore are currently trekking through Europe with Milk Teeth and Against Me, but they didn’t leave home before releasing a new 4-song EP called “Singles & B-Sides”.

For those of you who haven’t heard Mobina Galore just yet, think buzzing guitars, pounding drums and big, melodic hooks. Like Brody Dalle, these ladies have the attitude of the Distillers and the hooks of Spinnerette. Opening track “Spend My Day” is probably the best song on here, charging forward like a kid on a sugar rush. But the other three tracks aren’t too shabby either with “Vancouver” and the singalong-y “Thick & Thin” as my personal favorites.

Want some more Mobina Galore? You’re in luck then. Their album “Feeling Disconnected” will be out in March next year!

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
