Some people just refuse to grow up… these guys even go as far as to call their band Teen Agers. It’s kind of deceiving in this case because even though Teen Agers is in fact a new band, its members have previously spent time in outfits such as Go Rydell, Protagonist, How Dare You and Direct Effect.

Recorded by Less Than Jake’s Roger Lima and mastered by Stephen Egerton, “I Hate It” sounds amazing and deserves so because every song on here is another slab of fast, energetic and catchy punkrock. You know, the kind of songs that start off and immediately make you want to learn the lyrics by heart so that you’re able to sing along while you’re dancing your ass off.

The bio sheet claims that this album is highly recommended for fans of The Menzingers, Hot Water Music, Dag Nasty and Lifetime and for once that is not an exaggeration.

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
