Chicago's The Mizzerables shared the video for the title track from 'Whatever… This Sucks'. The video is directed and animated by Derek Grant (Alkaline Trio/Suicide Machines) with artwork by Miguel Echemendia. Recorded by 88 Fingers Louie guitarist Dan Precision at his Bomb Shelter studio, 'Whatever… This Sucks' is the band’s third full-length album and will be available on August 23rd via Whoa! Records.

“Thanks to Jeff from Rebel Spies we were connected with Derek Grant from Alkaline Trio / Suicide Machines about doing a lyric video for the album. Derek, in collaboration with Ech, our longtime art guru, created this really cool video for us that is a ton of fun and way more than a lyric video.”

Formed in 2013 by Joe Mizzi, THE MIZZERABLES are a Chicago-based punk rock trio with gritty, vocal-driven hooks. With Dave Vazzano and Korey Brisendine holding down the rhythm section, the band has been refining their sound over the past few years, culminating in their latest effort Whatever… This Sucks, a 30 minute trip through Mizzi’s psyche. Mizzi, a Michigan native and former member of Ten Ninety, Common Rider, and About the Mess, pulls influence from much of the music he cut his teeth listening to layered on top of the seemingly always forward-moving foundation set by Vazzano and Brisendine.

The Mizzeralbes are hosting an acoustic performance and listening party for Whatever… This Sucks tonight at The Native (2417 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago) from 7-9pm, with free pizza courtesy of the band from Boiler Room.
