CHRONIC FATIGUE is the latest self-titled single from the new Vancouver punk band, and the latest from their debut EP “Don’t Sleep On It”

On Chronic Fatigue, the band’s brash, high-energy, in-your-face sound and attitude cuts through the noise (and the cloudy, rainy Vancouver weather) to deliver an explosive, rousing and punchy track indicative of their wide-ranging influences both old and new, ranging from classic punk rock bands like Dead Boys and Fear to modern punk and hardcore influences including Amyl and the Sniffers, Militarie Gun and Drug Church.

The band, featuring members of Vancouver DIY mainstays Kid Lucifer, The Khans and Bloomshack, formed in 2023 and have quickly made a splash in their local Vancouver music scene. With less than a dozen shows under their belt, the band has already performed all across the city with some of the heaviest hitters in the scene thanks to great word of mouth stemming from their high energy, interactive and mosh-friendly live performances.

The restless, manic energy of their live show translates beautifully to record here - the self-titled single is full to the brim with a punk rock, devil-may-care attitude while still providing listeners with a catchy sing-along chorus and sharp, tight instrumentation throughout. The sub-three-minute track blazes with the immediacy and intensity of a new band aiming to make a strong statement out of the gate, and the track is a perfect encapsulation of the thesis of Chronic Fatigue: classic punk ethos mixed with explosive, youthful energy.
