Canada's We Were Sharks have signed up with Panic State Records, who will be releasing the band's new 7-song EP "Not A Chance".  The new EP is a follow-up to their self-released debut LP titled “Highways”.

"Not A Chance" is a departure from their earlier releases with faster and more mature songs while staying true to their pop-punk sound.  They have also released a video for their new single called “Without You”.  The video was directed by Ray Lavers and Chady Awad and shot around the city of Montreal.

The song is about the aftermath of a break up. When you're down and out, but, finally you open your eyes to the bigger picture and begin to work on yourself. And although most people find it hard at first to believe it, but there's a good chance that you're better off without the other person. The video concept is a pretty simple one. It's just shows the day we spent filming the video. We drove into Montreal really early, crashed for a bit and then went and shot the video. Hung around, drank beers, crashed a bachelor party and then drank on the directors rooftop til the sun came up the next morning.
