Company Of Heroes is an old-fashioned war movie that fits in perfectly with the likes Guns Of Navarone and The Dirty Dozen. A bunch of soldiers get stuck far behind enemy lines during WWII and stumble across a secret superbomb that Hitler is trying to develop. In an attempt to prevent a tragedy that could very well affect the outcome of the war, they decide to go after the professor behind the program who is looking to defect.

I’m not sure why this is a direct to DVD feature because I found Company Of Heroes thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. This thanks to solid performances by Tom Sizemore, Vinnie Jones and Jürgen Prochnow among others along with never-ending shootouts and plenty of suspenseful moments.
