Frank Langella plays Frank, a semi-retired burglar with an ailing memory, a son named Hunter (James Marsden) and a daughter named Madison (Liv Tyler). Both worry about their old man living alone and so Hunter gets Frank a robotic butler that not only knows how to whip up a kickass breakfast but which also comes with Peter Sarsgaard’s voice.

At first Frank isn’t too fond of his robot and acts all grumpy until he finds out he may just have found himself a partner in crime for a new series of robberies. Yes, this is sci-fi but not as we know it! While it is highly enjoyable for the first hour, it loses momentum towards the end and turns into little more than a reflection about growing old in the near future.
