Thanks Advlts! While trying to learn something more about these guys and their latest release, I came across great articles like ‘changes in stool colour or texture in adults’, ‘vomiting dark green, blackish bile’ and ‘stool color: when to worry’… which totally helped me get rid of my appetite.

Anyway, this Baltimore based bunch features guys from The Fuses, The Uniform, Deep Sleep and Paper Dragons and started out as a joke when they decided to learn how to play the 1978 debut album by Belgium’s The Kids. Kids. Advlts. Get it? Anyway, they then moved on to original songs and now there’s “Black Bile”, which comes at you with six slices of raw punk that sound like they were found in a time capsule that had been buried since the eighties. Rickety guitars bounce off bass lines that complement the drums. Meanwhile the vocalist is going off with a voice that lingers between singing, talking and shouting. And the whole is catchier than you expect it to be. Think The Germs meets The Fall.

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
