Bad Day 7"

Vancouver’s Autogramm have got a good thing going. Mixing up power pop and punk with new wave-y synths, might not seem like the best idea on paper. Except that it kinda is when it leads to a ridiculously catchy and upbeat song like ‘Bad Day,’ the A-side of this 7”.
Next up is ‘Quiero Estar Sedado,’ which turns out to be the band’s Spanish-sung take on the Ramones classic ‘I Wanna Be Sedated’. I’m not going to say it’s better than the original, but they do come pretty close and have a lot of fun with it.
