On the 3-song ‘Rear View’ EP, Philadelphia’s Brackish deal in late 90’s/early 00’s emo with something bordering on hardcore intensity. The result comes off as a punked up version of Saves The Day and it sounds pretty damn good.

Brackish is four friends who have been playing together since 2015, back when they were teenagers. Recorded and produced by the band’s own drummer Zach Miller, these three songs are a solid indicator of the direction the band is moving in and I am already looking forward to their next step.

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
