Album Reviews
Bullet For My Valentine have quickly worked its way to the top of the modern metal scene and have just released what is already their second album for RCA. “Temper Temper” will no doubt be another commercial success and depressed teenagers can rejoice (it’s okay to have fun… try it on for size!). After all, it’s more of what you’ve come to love from these UK youngsters.
Technically there is nothing bad you can say about Bullet For My Valentine. These guys know how to play their instruments and solos slice through whatever air that hasn’t been shredded to pieces yet by the riffage, which of course comes with plenty of guitar squeals. It’s just a damn shame that it all sounds way too clean and that the material comes with as much excitement as a bingo night at your local nursing home.
