Cock Sparrer has already been around for over four decades! Let that sink in for a second. Insane, right? And it’s not just that they are still around, they are still putting out albums. Granted, it’s only their seventh album in all of those years, but that doesn’t take away from how solid “Forever” is.
Right from the start, “One By One” sets the tone with catchy melodies, snappy guitars and the kind of chorus you can belt out loud after just having heard it once. And after that first song, you have fifteen more just like it to go. Lyrically, Cock Sparrer is all about standing by your friends and not letting adversity get in the way of enjoying life. Messages we can get behind, especially when they are wrapped in ridiculously catchy songs.
