The Ergs! are no more. A damn shame if you ask me! But at least one of the best poppunk bands from the last couple of years don’t let us go home emptyhanded. With the singles collection “Hindsight is 20/20, My Friend” you get a whoppin’ 33 tracks and the promise of a second volume. And you know what? It’s all poppunk bliss!
Like a nerdier version of The Descendents, The Ergs! know how to write catchy songs that are fast-paced and highly addictive. Throw in a healthy sense of humor and you should know you’re in for a treat.Don’t forget to pick this one up and - while you’re at it - their two full-lengths (2003’s “Dorkrockcorkrod” and last year’s “Upstairs/Downstairs”)!
