Having released their debut full-length, ‘Only Constant,’ just last year and touring pretty much non-stop since, it’s surprising that GEL is already back with a new EP. But here they are, along with the announcement that they have found a new home at Blue Grape Music.

If you are familiar with the New Jersey hardcore band, you already know that they are a force to be reckoned with. If you haven’t heard them before…  you are in for a treat! ‘Persona’ finds GEL pushing themselves. This handful of new cuts is every bit as aggressive as what came before, but more dynamic and fleshed out. Hell, there’s even room for memorable hooks this time around.

Produced/engineered by Jon Markson (Drug Church, Drain, Jivebomb), ‘Persona’ sounds huge and crunchy in the best of ways. Every single song on here shows amazing growth and listening to these five tracks, one can only wonder where they will go next.

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
