Album Reviews
Ugh, listen, both band name and album title are way too long. So excuse me if I don't re-type the whole thing anymore throughout this review. Hell, I'm not even gonna use any acronyms. Because acronyms suck.
This record, however, does not. For the first time I get the feeling that I'm listening to the real Jello. His "doctors to be" (you know, school of medicine) found themselves on their second effort backing the legendary Biafra, fusing thrash and proto punk with some little freakier outings, though luckily those remain scarce.
Of course, Jello keeps snarling at the establishment, politicians and all else worth bitching about. But it's become a musically interesting thing to listen to. At least, the five regular tracks on the album are. The 18-minute ghost track closing off the album is just too weird, too long, too useless. So I'll only grade the first five tracks if that's okay with you... .
