These German punkrockers have been lighting lamps ever since they got their start in 2009 and have since evolved from a straight-up Ramonescore band to something that will appeal to all the punks sporting a beard and attending Fest. The Lamplighters are now getting ready to release their latest album, “Views”, on No Panic! Records and rest assured, it’s a doozy!

While still paying tribute to the Ramones in a song like “Basement”, they will just as well whisk up images of Hot Water Music in cuts like “Burden” and “Out Of Control”, both musically and vocally. With lyrics about friendship, love, hate and both the hope and desperation that can come with it, they delivered 12 punkrock jams that you can easily relate to and which are as catchy as they are energetic.

The Lamplighters might not win any awards for originality, but they will sure as hell brighten up your day with “Views. Get it? The Lamplighters will brighten your day? Ha!

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
