Rather than following up “On Mars” with a new album, Mean Jeans decided to go back in time and drop a singles collection compiling songs from various 7-inches, compilations and other not so readily available releases.

Chronologically ordered, this collection takes you all the way from the band’s earlier Ramones-influenced tunes to their more polished, layered power-pop-punk of today. Sweet! Granted, twenty songs is a lot of Mean Jeans to take in at once and not every song on here is equally good, but if you’re into garage-y pop-punk then you know Mean Jeans is the way to go! Not convinced? Check out “I Miss Outer Space” and tell me you don’t like it!

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
