Brooklyn’s Night Surf is back with four new songs on their short, blink-and-you-might-miss-it EP ‘Enemies’. Like on their debut EP, these four cuts feel right at home on the darker side of pop-punk. They channel their inner Alkaline Trio in ‘Reanimate’ (albeit a harder edged Alk 3), pay tribute to the Descendents on ‘Watersnake’ and the title track and dish out a complete rager with ‘Sleight Of Hand’.

All this wrapped up neatly in just 7 minutes. It’s really short, but it’s incredibly sweet. Can I have some more please?

Track listing:

  1. Reanimate
  2. Slight Of Hand
  3. Watersnake
  4. Enemies

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
