…Forget Me Not

From California comes No Better, an emo four-piece who released a pretty friggin’ decent EP with “… Forget Me Not”. Right off the bat, “Linger” comes at you with a catchy chorus and an overall understated elegance. They manage to keep this going for the remaining three songs with that subtle guitar lead in “Miracle” and the freakout at the end of “Better Man” as my personal highlights.
Recorded over the course of five days with engineer Robert Cheek (Band of Horses, Deftones), “…Forget Me Not” has a lot going for itself and should have no problem pleasing fans of The Promise Ring.
