When Pick Your Weapon called it a day, its members moved on to different things (another band, a record label, a food photography blog,…). After a while they got that itch that musicians seem to get from time to time and along with Tiny Cinema’s Darren Jilks, got back together and started Nobody, Ever.
The energy of Pick Your Weapon is still there, as are the pop sensibilities of Tiny Cinema and it’s not hard to pick up on these guys’ shared love of 90s emo. The result is four songs that wouldn’t have looked out of place on one of those awesome Deep Elm compilations from back in the day. Curious to hear what a full-length from these guys would sound like!
Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
