Oso Oso is the name of former State Lines vocalist Jade Lilitri’s new(ish) project and it’s under that moniker that he has now released released an album with the rather awesome title “Real Stories Of True People Who Kind Of Looked Like Monsters”.

The album comes with eleven songs that combine poppy melodies with the energy of punk and simply radiate with energy and spontaneity. So yeah, call it pop-punk that’s a little rough around the edges. All of the songs on here are a ton of fun to listen to, instantly hum-along-able and often feel like the pop and punk elements are battling it out amongst one another before realizing they can just as well skip hand in hand towards the finish line.

“Real Stories Of True People Who Kind Of Looked Like Monsters” is not necessarily the album that will change your life, but it’s pretty much guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
