The Peacocks is one of those bands that deserves a much bigger audience than they’re getting right now but until they get a break and score that long-awaited hit, they’ll have to make due with the underground. Not that that’s stopping them because “Don’t Ask” is already this Swiss outfit’s seventh full-length.

With bass-slapped ferocity and melodic punkrock, these guys immediately set the tone with opener “What I Want” before slowing things down in “Need A Break”. They keep mixing it up further on the album, never missing a beat and always arm in arm with great hooks, plenty of energy and some solid vocal harmonies. It’s all highly contagious and if you’re into the likes of The Living End, there’s no reason you shouldn’t go nuts over The Peacocks.

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
