Four years after “Matters”, Pulley is finally back with a new release. Not on Epitaph but rather on their own label, X-Members Records. My biggest regret about this release? It’s only five songs!

Other than that, things – as usual with these guys – sound amazing. Melodic punkrock that always maintains an aggressive edge and of course, Scott Radinsky’s amazing vocals. Opener “The Never Ending” is vintage Pulley and I immediately feel the need to get that fist pumping in the air and sing along. And the same goes for the other four tracks as well even though I could’ve done without the screams in “Enemies”. Other than that… flawless!

It’s definitely the best thing they’ve released in years… oh no wait, it’s the only thing they’ve released in years! Hopefully a full-length is in the works so we don’t have to wait another four years to get our fix.

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
