Red Lamb is a new band that consists of Anthrax guitarist Dan Spitz, vocalist Don Chaffin and Patrick Johansson on drums. If the vocal delivery and the riffs remind you of Dave Mustaine’s Megadeth, then that makes a lot of sense because not only did Mustaine help write the lyrics, he also co-produced the album.

Basically this album sounds like a mix of Megadeth and older Anthrax and while some of the songs are decent enough, they never reach the level of the abovementioned bands’ output. And seeing as I’m already not such a fan of those two bands to begin with, well.. that doesn’t leave a lot to get excited over when it comes to Red Lamb.
