Apparently Patrick Swayze lives on in a Saskatchewan-based dad punk band. And if you are looking to do a little dirty dancing of your own, these guys have provided the raucous soundtrack for it with their latest EP, ‘St. Angry’.

Fusing together elements of hardcore punk and more melodic punk rock, Swayze rage through five songs worth of pummeling drums and solid riffage as they collectively work through their feelings of anxiety and depression. What that sounds like? Kinda like The Flatliners covering PEARS. Or the other way round. Still haven’t quite figured that one out. But you get the idea. Now, if you’ll excuse me... have to go and watch ‘Road House’ for the umpteenth time.

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
