In November Teenage Bottlerocket headed over to Europe to support Volbeat and Iced Earth (yikes!) and in honor of that tour they decided to release a 3-song 7” called “American Deutsch Bag”. What does that 7” tell us about Teenage Bottlerocket? Well, that their German sucks (“Ich bin Ausländer und Spreche Nicht Gut Deutsch“) and that they smoke weed (“I’m the One Smoking Marijuana Motherfucker”). The third song is “Via Munich”, a cover of Tony Sly’s song that they also contributed to “The Songs Of Tony Sly: A Tribute”.

As much as I love this band, I have to be honest and say that none of the songs on here make much of an impression. It’s fun for once or twice but that’s about it. One for the die-hard fans only. The rest of us will just have to wait until their next full-length comes out.
