Boston-via-Orlando band Baby!, the project of Kaley Honeycutt, is releasing debut LP, Sunny, F.L. today on Yellow K Records. GoldFlakePaint are sharing a new video today for the track "Bite My Tongue" which was created entirely by Honeycutt and who did everything herself - down to hand-painting the backgrounds!

Honeycutt adopted the moniker Baby! to embrace a side of herself that she was so often shamed for while growing up - the 5'1" kid sister to four older brothers, the hypersensitive oversharer, the "crybaby."

Last year, the Florida native shared some of her music online, and within two weeks she was discovered by Maryland-based label Yellow K Records. 2017 is proving to be a big year for Baby! - fresh off the April release of her debut EP Pick Me, Honeycutt is hard at work planning a Northeastern tour this summer in support of her upcoming LP Sunny, F.L.

Sunny, F.L. captures Honeycutt's upbeat brand of  dreamy surf-pop over the course of eight tracks. Honeycutt's knack for crafting sickly sweet hooks anchors the record, bringing a bubbly optimism to tracks like album opener "Weather Girl" with the infectious refrain, "but I'll always be your weather girl / and I'll always be your sunny girl." Later on the album, Honeycutt delivers a repeated, cutting rejection - "I don't like you" - with that same enthusiasm. Baby!'s dreamy surf pop may be the perfect, upbeat summer soundtrack, but Honeycutt still knows how to pack a punch.
