New Jersey’s A Boy Named John has released a video for a brand-new single called “Circuits”. The standalone single is a taste of new music for fans while the band is currently writing their next record.

“”Circuits” is about vulnerability. I wanted to portray that idea throughout the music video in an abstract way by splitting the scenes between the child’s fever dream (shots in the woods) and the mother and doctor in the house. During the fever dream, the child is confronted by two tropes of “good” and “bad,” not knowing who to trust. In the house, the doctor who is seemingly supposed to help the child get better, is actually looking to poison him. These conflicts represent the gray area of vulnerability and facing this adversity, despite things looking bleak.” - Christian Singh, vocals of A Boy Named John

A Boy Named John’s new single, “Circuits,” was produced/engineered by Brett Romnes (I Am The Avalanche, The Movielife) at Barber Shop Studios in Hopatcong, NJ, mastered by Chris Gehringer of Sterling Sound and the video was directed by Eric DiCarlo of SquareUp Studios.
