Sad news... Dan Padilla is calling it quits. Here’s a statement from the band:
“Thank you so much to everyone that bought our records, took us in, hugged us, threw beer on us, heckled and sang with us at the same time. We would like to especially thank ADD Records, Snuffy Smile, Dirt Cult, It’s Alive, Razorcake, Fast Crowd, Dead Broke, Must Yearn, All in Vinyl and Little Deputy for putting out our records so people could hear what we created. “How we come in, is how we go out”, as good friends, that love music and that like to hang out together at shows.”
Dan Padilla will be playing one final show in San Diego at the Casbah on April 2, 2016 which will include lots of special guests to be announced. Pre-sale tickets and lineup will be announced through Fast Crowd Records social media prior to tickets going on sale to the public.
The band also has a split 7” with Prince coming out on Dead Broke which will be available at the April 2nd show. You can stream the song “Florandia” from the split here:
