Milwauke''s Direct Hit announce their Fat Wreck debut, "Waste Mind", which will be out June 24th.

Inspired by the savage and warped sensibilities of Burroughs’ Naked Lunch and Thompson’s Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas, this 12-track concept album will take you on a sonic rollercoaster, reminiscent of a more concise and pointed version of Green Day’s American Idiot. Produced by All-American Rejects guitarist Mike Kennerty, the album follows a cast of drug-addled, medicated and unpredictable characters who check in and out of reality with reckless abandon.

Singer/Guitarist/Lyricist Nick Woods says “The record is less about chemical abilities and handicaps and more about identity, consciousness and relativity.”
