If you live near Pittsburgh and don’t know what to do on December 13, then that’s probably because you simply haven’t heard about Four Chord Music Festival yet. Or because you take life day by day and don’t plan that far ahead. Yolo and all that crap. Anyway, this multi-stage festival will take place at Xtaza Nightclub in Pittsburgh, PA and boasts a diverse and exciting line-up.
Headliner this year is Yellowcard, a band that needs no introduction. So I’m not going to write one. Another band that doesn’t really need an introduction is Anti-Flag, the political punks who released one of their best album to date earlier this year. Also on the bill are indie punks Citizen, the pop-punks from Hit The Lights and the paroled party animals that are known as Masked Intruder. Sounds pretty sweet, right? But wait it doesn’t stop there.
What about local heroes The Spacepimps, Handicap Parking Lot and Across State Lines?
Or Soupy from The Wonder Years’ solo project, Aaron West And The Roaring Twenties?
Or Harbour, pop-punk imported straight from Canada?
Or recent Equal Vision signee Watermedown?
And hell, why stop there?
Even more pop-punk will be brought to you courtesy of Head Injuries, Patent Pending, Drop The Act, Check Engine Light, Look Out Loretta and Cynimatics.
Brought to you by Substream Magazine, Four Chord Music Festival is looking like a lot of fun and you can be a part of the festivities for 34 bucks.
