In case you haven been living under a rock, something has been happening in Belgium. There are a shitload of new talented bands who are all doing their own unique thing. Just think of Raketkanon, Cocaine Piss, Kapitan Korsakov, Brutus, It It Anita,... You can now add The Guru Guru to that list. They have been one of Belgium's best kept secrets up until now, but that is likely to change with the release of their debut full-length, "P C H E W", on March 24 via Rumble Heap Records / Suburban.

New single "Up The Wall" tries to be intimate, but has problems communicating. It tries new things, but fails and ends up in awkward situations. In spite of its insecurity, it perseveres and ultimately almost succeeds in achieving its goal. Or like vocalist Tom puts it: 'Not being able to communicate. Wanting to invent new rules for communication in order to practice the skills and eventually get better at it.'

Get mathy! Get noisy! Get indie-y? Or just get freaky!
