After a two-year breather, New Jersey punk rock trio The Moms has resurfaced with a brand new EP as well as a new record label. "Snowbird" is set for a September 16th release via Bar-None Records. The album was co-produced by Pete Steinkopf (Bouncing Souls) and Brett Romnes (I Am The Avalanche) and mastered by Jon Marshall (Misfits, The Front Bottoms, Murphy’s Law).

“At the time this EP was written, I struck a deal with my neighbor (a self-proclaimed snowbird),” recalls frontman Joey Nester. “I would keep an eye on her house and make sure that her pipes didn’t freeze and in return she’d let us store some gear in her basement. Unbeknownst to her, we were down there rehearsing and writing all winter long. We named this EP Snowbird to give thanks to my old neighbor Shirley and to pay homage to the winter when these songs were written.”

Check out the dual video, which features the tracks “Road Soda” and “Start Stop”, below. “Road Soda is a song celebrating the simple joy of imbibing an icy adult beverage while in transit via motor vehicle,” explains Nester. “We wanted the video to accentuate our love for this past-time, which we enjoy while driving to and from shows in our old camper. The concept was simple, rock out in the RV while drinking lots of “sodas”, almost get caught, party with some cops, piss off the driver, throw Jesus in the mix, and get home safe.”
