AVEM surprise released their new EP, Graham Cracker, just a couple of days ago. It is named for their guitar player, Ernie’s father. Not only is Graham largely responsible for AVEM’s love for birds, but he actually penned the lyrics for each of these new songs! The band wrote instrumentation around those lyrics and recorded them in secret to release on Father’s Day as a thank you for developing and supporting their passions in birds, music and in life. Today, we are psyched to premiere the lyric video for ‘Bird Perv’.
"Let's face it, some pervert named a bunch of birds," explains the band. "There's some heavy sexual undertones to a bunch of bird names, and this song's about being obsessed with birds but all your friends thinking you're a pervert for talking about them. I mean, tits, peckers, cocks, boobies? All great birds!"
