We are very excited to premiere 'The Lesson Here,' your first taste off of Tampa's DieAlps! (pronounced dee-alps) sophomore full-length, 'More Important Things'.

Guitarist/vocalist Frank about the song:

"'The Lesson Here' is sort of a love letter to a person dealing with depression. It probably comes across as the saddest song on the album, but in actuality, I think it is probably the most uplifting."

And while the song may start out all delicate, sad and melancholic, it soon turns into something bigger but still ... well, melancholic. It is a sound DieAlps! do incredibly well on the entire album with a seemingly endless supply of gorgeous melodies and beautiful solos at their disposal.

'More Important Things' is DieAlps! first release since replacing three band members. Rather than calling it a day, married duo Cornelia ("Connie") and Frank have soldiered on to write and record their most confessional songs to date.

Not unlike their first self-titled EP (2014, New Granada), the new album digs deep from a well of topics ranging from the current political climate we live in, contemporary views on depression and anxiety, as well as relationship and marital struggles that most modern couples go through these days, while also reevaluating what is truly important in their personal lives and how perspectives seem to change over time.

'More Important Things'  will be out Friday Nov 22/2019 on CD/Digital/Streaming via New Granada Records.
