We are excited to premiere 'May I Have This Dance?' by Seattle’s 'grunge babies' Wild Powwers. It is an epic slow burner that packs beautiful vocal harmonies by frontwoman Lara Hilgemann and drummer Lupe Flores while being driven forward by a solid and melodic bass line courtesy of Jordan Gomes. The song is taken off of the band's upcoming third album 'Skin' which will be out Oct 12 via Nadine Records (Pre-order here).

Drummer Lupe Flores about 'May I Have This Dance?':

"This song is about feeling completely and utterly helpless. It's when that little voice in the back of your head shows up to ruin your day, making you feel undeserving of love. So you shove it down, and allow yourself to be vulnerable, but the more you open yourself up, the more that voice surfaces and burns a hole in your brain."

'Skin' is shaping up to be the band's strongest collection to date. Massive hooks, psychedelia, post punk grunge, it’s all in there. Loud and clear, thanks in part to Billy Anderson who recorded and mixed the LP (Melvins, Jawbreaker).
