Nick Diener of ex-guitarist / vocalist of The Swellers tweeted the other day that the currently defunct band will be writing and recording a new song. You can see the tweet below.

No word on whether or not the band is officially back together, or the reason for the new song, but we’ll keep you posted.

The Swellers released their final album, The Light Under Closed Doors, in October 2013 through No Sleep Records.They announced their plans to break up in June 2014.
