'Merci', the new album from New Jersey rock band Save Face, is available this week on Epitaph. It’s a visual album, with 14 music videos to accompany the release.
Additionally, Save Face is currently selling 'Merci' on Bandcamp and donating all proceeds to The Trevor Project, a national 24-hour, toll free confidential suicide hotline for LGBTQ youth. The promotion will run through July 20 and Epitaph will match the amount earned.
'Merci' is a concept album about perspective and the objectivity derived from a narrative dealing with an addict dealing with post-rehab relationship struggles and an eventual paranoia-fueled meltdown. Partly inspired by the theatricality of such bands as Queen, 'Merci' is driven by a dramatic tension that reflects Save Face’s mission of making emotionally complex, multi-faceted art.
