Very happy to premiere the video by Brooklyn, NY’s Living Room for the song ‘Another Me’. The video was directed Brendan McKnight and stars Tom Kenny.  

Bassist Kevin Dobbins had the following to say about the song and the idea behind the video:

“It can be easy to identify the changes you need to make to become the version of yourself that you desire to be. Implementing and committing to these changes is the hard and often frustrating part. This song deals both with that frustration as well as the hopefulness of being able to clearly visualize who it is that you want to be. 

When Brendan McKnight conceptualized this video we immediately felt like it fit. In terms of sound this song has a bouncier lightness to it, so we wanted to do something fun and light for the video. The door to door salesman somewhat embodies the idea of trying to tap into a different, idealized version of yourself in order to accomplish a goal. In trying to be this person, Tom encounters his own series of frustrations and setbacks throughout his day. Enjoy!”

‘Another Me’ is taken from the band’s third album ‘Heavy Mind’, which will be out on cassette Dec 14 via Jetsam-Flotsam. You can pre-order HERE.
