Ill Fate is a ‘band pync roc o De Cymru,‘ which is Welsh for saying they are a punk rock band from Wales. They recently released a new 3-song 7” called ‘Tested On Animals’ and on it, they don’t exactly hide the fact that they are influenced by the likes of NOFX. Which isn’t exactly a novel sound, but still is a helluva lot of fun when done right. And Ill Fate do it very well on both the title track and ‘(w)Anchorman’ and then somehow manage to incorporate a banjo in a punk rock song that lasts all of 56 seconds. Apparently they have a full-length in the works so there will be plenty of Ill Fate to go round this year.
