Today, Philly based foursome The Menzingers share a boot stomping new single, “There’s No Place In This World For Me” that finds them exploring an Americana/roots sound as vocalist Greg Barnett pushes the limits of the natural rasp and twang in his distinct vocal tone. Recorded at Sonic Ranch in April 2023, it was produced by Brad Cook (Waxahatchee, Kevin Morby), mixed by Jon Low (Taylor Swift, The National) and mastered by Ryan Smith (Coldplay, Smashing Pumpkins). Drawing inspiration from both the gritty punk rock tradition and the introspective storytelling of folk music, the band establishes a unique and elevated sound.
