The Swedish alternative rock outfit Sweet Teeth is releasing the single and music video "Turn off the Light" on the 7th of March. The single is the second one leading up to Sweet Teeth's anticipated second full-length album "The Void That Eats The Heart", set for release on Lövely Records.

Sweet Teeth on the single: "We are all somewhat nerds in the band and really enjoy the challenge of creating a song with the same riff throughout, which is the case with this song, except for the bridge. Despite the repetition, it doesn’t sound monotonous. It's a melancholic pop song with a rock feel, featuring dark lyrics about being fed up with almost everything."

Straight out of the industrial heart of Finspång, Sweden, Sweet Teeth is here to shake up the alternative punk rock scene. Think Hüsker Dü's raw energy, Dinosaur Jr's gritty melodies, and The Hellacopters' relentless drive—all rolled into one. With Andreas Axelson on vocals/guitar, Andreas Sjöberg shredding the other guitar, Joakim Ölund on drums, and Joona Hassinen handling the bass, this quartet is making some serious noise.

Their debut EP, 'Acid Rain,' made punk rock purists take notice, and their first full-length, 'High Anxiety,' sealed the deal. At 29 minutes of no-compromise, no-bullshit rock'n'roll, it’s a wild ride of melodies and hooks atop screaming guitars. Little Steven (Bruce Springsteen's E-Street Band) himself crowned their song 'My Heart is Big and Broken' the Coolest Song in the World on his Underground Garage show in october 2021. The band has also been featured in various punk and hardcore compilations, showcasing their versatility and how they fit in more than just one genre. Having just finished recording and mixing their eagerly anticipated second full-length album, 'The Void That Eats The Heart", Sweet Teeth is poised to release a body of work that delves deeper into their punk rock roots while pushing the boundaries of their sound.
